Yeah, I know this question gets asked quite a bit.  Just curious if there are certain nuggets you find there post op, that has helped you along on your weightloss journey...

There isn't a Joes in my home town...Would have to drive about 40 minutes...So unless I'm in the area I don't bother.  Brian

Love the cheese section... I am of the school fat = flavor. I don't do low fat cheese. If you like Rosemary look for the Rosemary Asiago Wedge.

Great price on Red Quinoa (I make quinoa burgers often)

Hmm oh yeah quickest meal ever... Chicken Asada in the fridge section: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2014/02/new-p roduct-alert-trader-joes-joses.html

Trader Joes has  sugar free chocolate covered almonds in a mix of dark and milk chocolates.....I love the treat of having a couple of these when I want chocolate!

I like their meatless breakfast sausage, I normally find "anti-meat" to have weird aftertaste but theirs is really good if you crumble it up and mix it with scrambled eggs.

The frozen fish is really good too, they usually have small portions of fish stuffed with other fish/shrimp/crab/etc. One "portion" is usually enough for two or three meals, but it keeps reasonably well in the fridge.

I also like to stop in the aisle with all of the different sauces so I can have different things to put on the huge amounts of grilled chicken breast that I eat. I'm a big fan of the Thai curry sauces, especially green and yellow. They also have foil packets with Indian meals pre-made to "heat and eat," there's an especially good lentil dish that works really well when I portion it out into little tupperware bowls and take it to work for lunch.

Many many moons ago I was living in a house with a family.  The wife made a lentil soup I would die for.  Never had anything close to that taste...I loved it.  Bye the way...Is there any chain restaurants that serve a lentil soup and when??

Hmmm, I'm not sure about chains that serve lentil soup. It's very often at the menu at Middle Eastern restaurants, though! I worked at a restaurant owned by some Jordanian friends when I was in college, and we had it every day, it was the best soup ever :)

Chocolate-covered coffee beans ("chocolate-covered crack"), single serving brie cheese, chocolate and mocha yogurts. They also are one of the convenient places that carry my favorite protein bars.

These are always on my list when we go to TJ's: Babybel cheeses (they are cheaper there); unsalted macadamia nuts or almonds; pre-cooked nitrate/nitrite free bacon; apple chicken sausages; greek yogurt spinach/kale dip; crab-stuffed flounder; chicken chili lime burgers; stuffed mushrooms; Fage greek yogurt; beef and buffalo jerky; and usually one selection of delicious cheese that I want to experiment with.
