I've been using a Vita Mix blender for my protein shakes that I absolutely LOVE. I love the consistency of the drinks and how it chops up all the ice. I'll be doing a lot of traveling this summer and am looking for a small but powerful blender. What do you recommend?

Will you be traveling places where there is no electricity??  They do make battery powered blenders, but with only batteries you are unlikely to get the same performance that you are getting with your Vita Mix.

There will be electricity. I want a small blender that is powerful and will pulverize the ice cubes.

magic bullet? They are small enough to pack but are electric. I don't know if there is a battery powered one strong enough to do what you want.
