Medicine after surgery

I recently had surgery and I am having problems with taking my medicine. Does anyone have any advice on what to do or how to take it? Or does it get better? I have tried crushing it up in applesauce but that did not work out very well.

I just swallowed mine.  Are you having trouble swallowing?

I had to crush mine. I just put them all in my mouth and drank some water and swallowed all at one. It sucked, I had to do it for 6 weeks. Now my pills have to be smaller than a hole punch or I have to split them or crush them.

Hard to answer without knowing which surgery you had.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Talk to the pharmicist to see if there are alternative ways to dispense it.  He may be able to put it in liquid for you.
