Hello all, my name is Monique, and I was banded back in 2008. I lost about 76 pounds after the band and I have since gained about 20lbs. back. I will soon be a sleever. Thx. for all the helpfull comments on the board. I look forward to learning and sharing with each of you.

Hi Monique - Welcome back!! Since you're a long-timer OH community member, you've probably also checked out our VSG message board but if not, go there too. Do you have a surgery date yet?

Lap Band on 08/25/08

Hi Cathy,

I don't have a VSG surgery date as I am just starting the process. I will meet with the nutritionist and start labs on 7/8. Then I plan to learn the date for the band removal surgery. I haven't checked out the VSG board but I plan too. Thanks for the tip!

Lap Band on 05/07/07

I was banded in 07 and did quite well for a stint but have been struggling past two years and currently 10 days away from VSG surgery! What a hard decision that was... I wish you the best of luck!!!
