Erectile disfunction after RNY

I know this is an embarrassing topic for some. Prior to my RNY surgery, there was no issue. I had my surgery last Tuesday and have not been able to obtain an erection since my surgery. I had no complications and are now very concerned because prior to surgery an erection was instant with no issues whatsoever.

I would appreciate if anyone has any information on this. I do not have high blood pressure or any other associated issues which could be causing this problem

I bet it is because you had surgery and your body is healing.  Give it time and your erections will return.

The more you worry the worse it gonna be.  I am wondering if you ever have erections when you sleep.  That would tell you if are unable to have them or just need a little help.  Hey, I won't take credit for this one.   I saw it on Sex in The City.  Take a thin piece of paper and put it around your private part with a tiny piece of tape.  If the paper is broken in the morning you are getting erections.  OH and I just saw you had that you had your surgery last Tuesday.  You are asking way to much out of your body.  You can still try what I said but give your body time to recover.  It will come back.  Promise.

Let you body heal and get ready for a new feeling of "heft" with your boners.  You junk ain't going to get any bigger than what you had before but you do lose weight from the pubic area as well.  You will find that with the weight loss it will appear that your junk has gotten "enhanced".

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I know that women experience some serious hormonal fluctuations post-op.  It would make sense that men would experience it in their own way...but damn, slow down, boy!

So I met with my surgeon yesterday and he said hormonal changes & healing were to blame. He said to give it 4 to 6 weeks but amazingly that afternoon things were looking up.

I am going through a very stressful time right now with family issues as well as some marital ones.. My husband was very supportive of me having this surgery. He also has been considering it & will get his surgery date next week. The problem is that he is doing it for the wrong reasons & now is complaining about the diet.

Anyway, whole other issue I guess but I need to do what is best for me right now.

Do you think that some generic pills are good in this case? I would like to get some recommendations from you, I have similar issues... I would like to get some Generic Cialis maybe. I heard that it is a good alternative. What do you think?
