Yowza!  Funny you posted this because I immediately thought of you when I read the "if you're not 6" then you're not at goal" post because I think you look A-mazing!

You certainly do! I'm 5'10" and about 190, and if it wasn't for the excess skin, I'd be skinny as a rail. No one has the right to tell another person what their goal should be, with regard to weight or anything else in life.

I am speechless.

I find it highly inappropriate and insensitive for you to assume what's an appropriate weight for the OP.

Brenda,

WOW did you read what you wrote, because it comes across as arrogant and rather nasty from someone who wants to see positive posts.

"Unless you are 6 ft tall 185 is no way near goal." Wow, that is pretty judgy and not so helpful. I don't know that any of us are in a position, via the internet, to determine what another person's goal should be.

I had a panni removal about a year after my first WLS.  The only thing that bothered me was how low my belly button was.  My surgeon must had made it very tight because even when I regained 100 lbs it stayed flat.

Unfortunately, the area above the belly button did not stay flat.  Not only did I deal with being morbidly obese again but my body looked even work with all the fat above my belly button and flat below it.

I am happy to say that after losing the excess weight, and keeping it off for about 3 years, my belly is still flat.  Looks great in clothes.  I had my revision open and then 2 hernia surgeries so I have a big honking scar down the middle of my stomach, which puckers and doesn't look too hot but I can live with it.

Even if I had the money I don't think I would go for a tummy tuck at this point.  There are far worse areas on my body that could use some renovating.
