I Keep Gaining!

A couple of years ago I damaged by knees in a fall off a roof. I was laid up for 6 months and I put on over 50 pounds. I am still slowly gaining and all told I put on 75 pounds because I work a more sedentary job and there is food all around.  So far I have made some attempts to lose weight and the gaining has slowed to a crawl. I am eating only slightly more than I did before and I am hoping to reverse this trend as being fat a sedentary has caused me to get high blood pressure.

Any advice?

You should start weighing and tracking everything you eat. Every last bite. Then reduce your intake so you start losing at the rate you want.

That make sense. I know that it is as simple as calories in vs calories out. I think my gaining may have reached a plateau. I guess I was looking for a short cut.

We all would love a short cut. I never did find one though. They're like unicorns.
