I have a date! Onward and downward

I have a date set for September 10th! I am s happy but a little anxious, too. My BMI is at 40, and the insurance staff member at my surgeons facility said that Oxford, my insurance company, and others are now beginning to turn people down more and more if they go under 40 BMI or under 35 with one or more comorbidities. I have sleep apnea, and unless it is severe, they will not approve me with a 35-40 BMI with sleep apnea as a comorbidity unless I have severe sleep apnea. So, I have to stay at my current BMI until I get the results of my additional sleep study, and I must continue to stay at a 40 BMI if I test at less than severe regarding my sleep apnea. Lots of hoops to jump through, but it will all work out in the end. I am new here, and I haven't, "met" anyone here yet. But, I read here every day, and I am learning so much. What a wonderful group of people, and you are all so supportive. I am glad you are all here.

Thank you! I am very committed to this and have already changed my food lifestyle in so many ways. This one last tool is key, and I am so grateful I am able to move forward. I am learning all about head hunger, and not testing your pouch, doing as the surgeon and NUT recommend, and so much more.
