So, I was terrified to eat and then I ate and all was good. However, I don't feel any restriction. I don't feel full, but I feel satisfied. I had 1 egg this morning, softly scrambled, 1 reduced fat cheddar cheese stick, 32 oz of water, for lunch I had 3 oz of ground turkey with 1/4 cup of spaghetti sauce, and 20 oz of decaf iced tea. I have not had dinner yet, but I'll probably have some more meatballs. Is this normal? I can drink all the liquid I want with no problem. I expected to feel full like when I would over eat before surgery... you know that feeling. I guess I am can consider myself blessed, but it scares me that I don't feel any restriction.

Your stomach is still healing because the nerves were severed during surgery.  Right now it's a lying liar that lies and you can't trust it at all.  This is why it's SUPER important to measure everything and only eat what you measure.  Restriction will start to kick in around 4-6 weeks probably.

What Gwenmo said. You have restriction, you just can't feel it yet because of the cut nerves.

Get some local anesthesia in your hand and hit it with a hammer. Just because you can't feel anything, it doesn't make it wise.
