Accutane before and after VSG

Hello everyone!! Im new in this forum, and i would like to get some help. 

Im having my VSG by the end of june, and I'm on accutane for 5 months now. 

My dr. told me to stop taking it one week before and one after the surgery.

Can you share your personal experience with me? 

I don't need advices about how bad is the medication lol...hope you can help me clear my doubts.
