Consult on Wed

I go to My 1st consultation on Wed. Wish me luck!

My diabetes educator complimented my hard work. Her only concern is if they will understand Type 1 diabetes, other than that she thinks this is a green light. And just an hour drive from my house.

Good luck! I had my 1st consult 2 weeks ago, the only thing I was told was to write down everything I eat for 1 week. No cheating!  I have 4 more visits ( 1 per month) then they will schedule the surgery. They told me my insurance will cover the surgery, I have to pay 20% copayment. Can't wait!!  Let me know how you make out.
