Tennessee Medicaid bluecare coverage?

Hi yaw! I'm new to all of this and as of now I weigh 320 pounds 😫. I used to have Tricare standard and now have bluecare Medicaid in Tennessee. I was wondering if any of you had Medicaid in Tennessee and was successful having them pay for the gastric sleeve. I have 3 small children who need their momma back!!!!! Thank you for your time :)

Call the number on the card and ask if it will cover the surgery.

Tried that :(. They said my doctor had to call them to find out if the procedure is covered or not due to a code(?) 

That is stupid. They could tell if surgery is covered and what requirements are needed.

I'm hitting up google now for the code for the procedure. I'm hoping I find the right one. I'm at my point of desperation

Ok I got the code and I called them back and talked to a different person. Now they say that it is covered if medically necessary.... Now I have to find out if my issues are medically necessary or not :/

Have you been checked out for sleep apnea? 

I did. I do have sleep apnea and I have high cholesterol. 

If your bmi is 40or higher that is usually enough.
