Hi John.  Congrats on your journey.  I am four days post op and questions about soups and straining.  I am supposed to be on clears one week then full liquid for two more and no purée foods until week four post op!!! That being said. Can I strain a cream based soup such as cream of mushroom?use low fat milk?

Hi Bmspc,

Congratulations on your surgery. I did strain the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken. I also used some skim milk. Now I am the stage to puree food. I am getting tired of the chicken puree, so I checking to see what others have done.
