I wish I could work with a personal teainer, I envy you.
Sooooo---- here it goes..... Monday I worked with the trainer while he did a flexibility (or lack thereof) and fitness assessment. For an hour last evening, he went through the rolling and stretching that i am to do for a half hour a day, particularly right before my four sessions with him each week. Three of the sessions are circuit and cardio training and one is a really neat class called Ignite. Anyhow, I used a foam roller and a lacrosse ball to start working the fascia and muscles into supplication (think steak + tenderizer + marinade). I can see where it's going to be most beneficial to have the flexibility and more mobility.
I have always been pretty active but this is an area I have not been successful in working myself--the mobility and flexibility of my body/muscles etc. Three times a week hard core training and a class with other folks kind of in the same shape i am in. (round is a shape, right?)
thanks for your interest ladies! there's the scoop!
