One of those NSVs......
Today, after a 2.5 mile hike, I took my bike out, donned my riding gloves, helmet, capri workout pants and my high-performance t-shirt from a former life (a 5k three years ago...)
It's a gorgeous day in western Oregon --- as I parked and unloaded my bike I kept thinking...oh crap...it's all downhill to the river and to the bike trails from here but I am too proud to change my mind at this point.
I rode down the hill, rode around DREADING the uphill battle. Then....before I knew it I had made it all the way to the top of the hill, back to my Rodeo WITHOUT STOPPING. I was so damn proud, and then I started to cry.
It's as though my real life has come back!!!! The reasons why I wanted to have my RNY surgery ARE SO OBVIOUS.
Thanks for reading
Happy Sunday
