Hi Sarah,
Congratulations on your success! Thank you for sharing your progress and I totally agree about health v.s. numbers on the scale and looks. I am 51 years old and at this point just want to be healthy. My days of wearing bikinis are long gone anyway ha ha ha! I wish you all the best on all your endeavors!

I just got back from a couple weeks in Miami and while at a beach I was drying off and putting my cover up and capris on in like a seating area near a bar, I saw a woman with lymphedema legs like mine. She and her husband were walking away so I wasn't able to say anything, not sure I would as people don't like to be noticed at all sometimes...BUT to my surprise she later approached me and said she saw me in my bathing suit and wished she had worn hers too that I inspired her wear it next time, I asked her if she knew what lymphedema was and she say "yeah, I have it in my legs"...like me her legs were waaaay worse and she too had WLS and was so much better off and enjoying life at the beach!
I have Lipedema and Lymphedema. I also have a passion for Obesity and Health Insurance Advocacy.
