I didn't mention any other diet.. you guys are not on the same page as my post was meant for.I guess. nothing on my post was meant to be negative and NONE of my posts are meant that way.. I read a couple of positive responces to my post.Would be great to hear from some that have tried the 5 dpt..

This is the Internet-- how you MEANT things doesn't mean squat, it's all about how it comes across and how other people interpret the words you put out.
Don't blame others for not reading your mind and being "on the same page" as you.

I don't have a dog in this fight because I have never done the 5 dpt, but the post still came across to me as condescending. Your original post came across as a "bragging" type of post of "tooting your own horn". Everyone here has basically had some type of WLS or is about to have some type of WLS. We try and support each other by giving advice, tough love when needed, and cheers for accomplishments, but you seem to have forgotten where you came from. You had WLS too sweetheart which means you couldn't get the weight off on your own. That's because it isn't easy. No secret there. And believe it or not, there are people on here that even after WLS they have a hard time keeping the weight off, and those people don't need you being condescending and judgmental. I am sure they have dealt with that enough in their lifetime. The sad thing is that you don't even get why people are reacting to your post the way that they are.
The truth of the matter is that we are all very different with different genetics and metabolisms in play. I know that I can eat a whole lot more calories per day and maintain my weight than a friend of mine can that also had WLS. We aren't a one size fits all group. We each have to find what works for us and work it for life. What works for you may not work for someone else and vice versa. If you want support, you may want to try a different approach like not judging others for what works or doesn't work for them. And you may not have meant for your post to come across that way, but apparently it did, and in the world of the internet that's all that matters.
