Hump of fat across the butt??
This may seem like a weird thing to ask, but for those of you who had this hump of fat across your butt, you know as you gained weight and all of a sudden there it was. This big hump of fat that made your clothes stick out. Before i gained a lot of weight I was always told that I had a flat butt and then it became a big fattt butt. Not very pretty!!! So how many lbs do you have to lose to get rid of this hump of fatt?? Carolyn Faye
Sorry to tell you this, Carolyn, but I lost all my weight (110 lbs.) and the hump of fat was still there. I was like you, when I was small, I had a flat butt, when I got big and lost the weight, there's that hump of fat. YUCK! When I went for my plastic surgery consult, I asked about the hump o' fat and my Plastic Surgeon told me that most people who lose a lot of weight have it and the only way to make it go away is plastic surgery. I had a LBL, so my incision is all the way around. I have the cutest, nicest butt you've ever seen on a 41 year old woman who used to be fat!!
He got rid of the hump o' fat and everything else. Plastic surgery is a wonderful thing. Best of luck to you.

Start walking and it will melt away.
I started walking at 4 weeks out from surgery and my legs, tummy, waist and hips really slimed down. I am in 8 in the waist but my legs, hips are a 6.
I am at goal and weigh 135 and I'm 5ft 5inches.
When you get to goal, I am sure it will be gone. Exercise is a must to change the shape of your body. You can loose weight with WLS but you will have a lumpy body, add walking and you will slim down.

OMG!!!! I don't know the answer, but I'm sooo glad you posted this!! It is one of those things, I wanted to post myself but hate even thinking about it, so it's usually not on my mind until I see it in a mirror.
I am so upset that a few people said theirs didn't go away!!!! Oh nooooooooo. You know, I was very overweight for a long time, before I got this ugly thing. Then, just like you said, one day WHAM there it was. UGH.
I know plastic surgery will get rid of it, but I am just going to pray, meditate, exercise, dance, voodoo, whatever I have to do, and hope that mine goes away with the weight loss!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting, I know I'm not alone!
