I knew It, I knew It
almost 7 yrs P O and always had a plan so i would not let myself regain my 110 lbs weight loss. I was wearing snug fitting pants so as keeping me in check. well just before Thanksgiving. I started wearing loose pants and tops because I got some free clothing and they looked beautiful on me.. All were one size larger. I also like wearing looser pants when i am riding horses.. I was weighing myself daily also then I started getting busy in life and not weighing for a couple of months.. I weighed myself 2 days ago and to my suspicion, the scale said I gained 5 lbs. and it's no****er weight gain..
so I am back to wearing my snug clothing.. let this be a learned lesson for myself... I like the way i look and feel before the 5 lb regain... snug fitting clothes keeps me in check. among other things that have helped me to stay there also...PeaceV Wendy

I am new to maintenance, and I think I will be a daily weigh-er. I don't know how else to keep things in check but to pick a weight and have that be my danger zone where I have to go back into weight loss mode. I do like looking good in those tight size 8's!

I got rid of all my old clothes including my transitional clothes. I want to make regain as expensive as I can. I can't buy new clothes because my husband would ***** so much and he's a better *****er about such things than I am a shopper. That's saying something.... But another way of holding myself in check- look at the bright side!

I have considered on and off over the years not weighing myself but letting my clothes be the guide but I recently have experienced some overdue regain and I am about 10 lbs from my lowest and around 5 lbs from the weight I maintained for the last few years and I can tell you truthfully that if I didn't weigh myself I would never have know I had gained weight. Most of my clothes fit exactly the same as they railways have. My size has not changed at all. So I am committed to daily weighing to keep me honest with myself. I am afraid that by the time I gained enough weight to affect the way my clothing fits it would be that much harder to get a handle on. So far I am still well under my own goal so I'm not worried about it but believe me I am keeping a close eye on things. It is much easier to lose 5 lbs then 25 lbs.

I am the same way. I have a few "tight" pants that fit me perfectly. I can tell if I have gained even 3-4 lbs in them. The waist band will be a little tighter and so will the thighs. I do not wear stretch pants unless it's my time of the month.

If you like those larger clothes, have you considered having them tailored in? But otherwise, I agree...snug fitting clothes are a good check point!
