Have You Tried Xylitol Sweetner?
I don't buy the metabolism booster effects, but as far as sugar alcohols- it's not terrible.. there is a noticeable cooling effect though. My fav is erythritol- least GI distress producing (very high tolerance level due to the way it's absorbed/metabolized.. diff from all other SAs out there.. even for altered guts folks.) It also has less cooling effect.. I mix it 50-50 with inulin powder to make my own version of Swerve. Myself and several normie friends have indulged in quite a bit at a time with absolutely no side-effects. Google it as far as learning how/where it's absorbed to see why it's tolerated so well.
As far as stevia- the best I've had was NuNaturals liquid stevia drops. I cannot notice any bitterness and use it regularly in my coffee. All other stevias are icky to me.
Yes!my niece told me about it, her family does not eat sugar. I baked banana bread and used the same amount that I would sugar. Came out great, did. A blind taste test on my husband, made one with sugar and one xylitol. He guessed the wrong one ! I have tried other sugar substitutes but this was the best! I would recommend it
