So I think my papers are getting turned into the Insurance tomorrow!!!

How long is it going to take. I know it varies, but how long did yours take? I  have Medicaid UHC****ied health care) I just hope I get approved.

I have UHC Choice Plus.  Mine took 10 business days.  They told me that they have 15 business days to make the decision.  Good luck to you!

I had UHC through my employer and had my approval in 10 days.

Call them Thursday or Friday to make sure they got everything they need.

I will be submitting to my insurance next month and from what I understand Cigna takes about two weeks. 

Call and ask what their time line is, verify they have everything they need.  Mine was sent in on 8/26, received the call from the bariatric center on 8/29 that I was approved.  Have my final consult with surgeon tomorrow and get my surgery date.  I was also told to start my 2 week pre-surgical diet.  It will happen faster than you think!  Good Luck!
