Hello All!

Just a quick update on me.  Today I am officially 9 months post op!  kiss

Surgery weight was 429 lbs, Current weight is 250 lbs!!!!! Thats 179 lbs lost!!! Woohoo!!! From 5/6XL to XL/2XL, from 56 waist to 36/38.

No more sleep apnea, high blood pressure, back or knee pain.  I have had no complications, my eating habits are much healthier than before surgery and I generally feel much better.  I no longer feel like what I would imagine a very old sick person feels like.  I can fit in restaurant booths, shop in regular clothing stores and fit comfortably in movie theater seats.

I would like to lose 35 more lbs by November 1st which will be my 1 year post op day.  After that I would like to lose 20 more pounds which will put me at my ultimate goal of 195 lbs.  At the rate I'm going, I'm sure I'll make it to goal at some point!

There's so much more I could say but I want to keep this short.

Stay encouraged and keep pushing!

Looking good !  So what type of exercise are you doing and how much?  I started out about where you did.

Sarah, exercise is not my strong point.  LOL!  I really need to get myself together in this area.  But so far, I've done walking and jogging.  Usually for about an hour early in the morning, 3 - 5 days a week.  But lately, i've slacked big time.  Mercifully, I'm still losing weight but I do plan to pick up the slack!
