Eating a CUP----CAKE ... SERIOUSLY????

...and it is OHHHHHHHH SO GOOD TOO  .... low cal and LOADED with protein can I say YUM?

Brainstorming meals especially on a day when I ran out of the house later than I should have and left my breakfast intact on the table ... while I have my lunch bag handy I felt no desire to eat the portion of baked crab-stuffed chicken breast that I had packed for lunch ... so the "crazy lightbulb" in my head went off .... I had a couple of sandwich bags each with a portioned off scoop of protein for JUST IN CASE days where lunch is a squeeze or on the run ...  I had an awesome idea ... tweaking the protein cake-shake recipe once shared on the mainboard here by a DS sista I got creative ... with a scoop of protein ... a half of a graham cracker and a 1/4 cup of water ...

I took a coffee cup ... in it I emptied a heaping scoop of vanilla whey protein powder ... I took a graham cracker and split it in half and crumbed it and dumped it in the cup over the scoop of protein powder ... I then went over to the sink and poured a pit of water I would say 1/4 cup or maybe a tad more and I mixed well and nuked for 1.5 minutes in the microwave here at work...

Can I say YUM! OMG my CUP (because I made in in a coffee cup) CAKE is DELICIOUS..... no sugar added ... no sweeteners used except 1/2 of a graham cracker ... TO DIE FOR and filling ... I LOVE IT!!!

I am going to miss this facility as we move towards closing and I prepare to move in to my new position also off the main campus and closer to home WOOT!!! so in the interim I am enjoying a cup of tea and my awesome protein CUP----cake.... YUM!

I don't recall the "cake-shake" recipe. so I must not have ever tried it, and I'm trying to imagine this "thing" you made today..lol...as ALWAYS, I admire your imagination and creativity..but that crab-stuffed chicken breast sure sounds good!!!

Like you, I always have a supply of at least one "shot" of protein powder somewhere handy...until the Ziploc bursts in my purse...or the baby formula plastic thingie/holder I used for years finally cracked-and there was 3 doses of protein-all in the bottom of my purse (vanilla that time)-looked like something somebody might try to stick up their nose..was a MESS!

Now..about this cup thingie...is there an actual recipe? I read your post over and over, but my brain just can't figure out what you did. You KNOW I trust you COMPLETELY, and I'm all about wanting to try to do what you did !!

I've made the kind with whey protein and an egg - it'll work without the egg? My Fred isn't super fond of the others - too filling, but I'd be willing to try one without.

Worst case - I chuck it, right? (I don't make myself eat anything I don't like - no starving orphan's life is improved by me eating food I don't like)

Hmm.. Off to play in the kitchen...
