Would you please tell me things you are eating and the amounts also?.. I sit here and wonder why I have not regained more than 5 lbs this long post op. I have been on a like a roller coaster 5 lb gain and lose for the last 5 years.. I eat donuts and cookies and fattening foods . full fat velvetta cheese hamburgers hot dogs. the list goes on and on.the list is too long for me to put here.just like pre op and Lately not exercizing much ,  I don't eat a dozen donuts or large amounts of food but i do eat them.,other than 60 minutes a week at cardiac rehab is about all the exercise i am doing right now.. I have gotten lazy.. very discouraged right now because I have to take this plavix for the rest of my life and have to be extra careful not to bump into things or fall down etc etc so to not cause internal bleeding..my cardiac rehab ends in 2 weeks.

I believe my wls is still working very much.. I have failed at quite a few things in my life and thought for sure i would have failed at this too.. if not tottally then at least would have regained  half my weight back..but I haven't.. what am i doing different than those who have regained? cant figure it out.thanks for your time.. PeaceV Wendy

Not sure about the purpose of this post?   You want to gain 20lb +?   You want to gloat over those that have?   You just wanted to post something and this was it?

Be grateful you eat crap and don't put weight on - even if that crap is extremely bad for your health.   I would have thought with your particular health problems and heart history - and the fact that you have to take Plavix for the rest of your life, you would be much more mindful about NOT eating donuts and other processed foods that are contra-indicated for YOU!

What's the reason for your post?  I've maintained too fairly easily and eat that I want just small amounts.

There are many reasons people gain or don't gain NONE of us are exactly alike.

Some of us get to a normal BMI and others don't. This post seems odd in its purpose. Maybe you can elaborate on what you are wanting to know.

You don't have to wrap in bubble wrap because you are on Plavix, my mother was on it and lived perfectly normal active life. I have been on coumadin for over 30 yrs and also live a perfectly normal active life, yeah I bruise easier but that's all. Don't blame the drug for your laziness. Also with your health and heart issues why in the world would you eat the worst foods possible and then come here to gloat about it. I'm sure there are far healthier foods you could eat that would do much  more for your heart health. I too have to question the reason for this post.

 bubble wrap...!!!!

i, too, have been on Coumadin for years and attempt to maintain my INR between 3 and 3.5  (full response is below) and other than two incidents with an INR that was sky high and resulted in spontaneous bruising all over my body and some minor internal bleeding and bleeding from my sinus cavity (not my nose), a few more bruises or larger bruises are the only issue.  I was relatively active when I was in my early twenties yet never once had internal bleeding from getting hit by a volleyball or slipping and landing on my knee while hiking!  Definitely no excuse for not getting any physical activity!!

I just ate 5 egg whites with ketsup and a german chocolate muffin homemade with pumpkin in it and white chocolate candies inside..so anyone willing to put down what they eat that have regained?

maybe i have a bad cardilologist he said don't ride horses anymore . I could have a fatal fall from internal bleeding..I thought this website was for support.these replies don't sound supportive..please tell me something

I just dont think we understand what your question is. I am taking it as you want to know how to gain weight, because you have lost and keep losing past your goal. Right? I haven't had it yet just saw some of the comments and took it a different way. I don't mean any negative just trying to help your question.

I haven't had WLS yet, but I can't help noticing that you have had 3 heart attacks and 2 stents since your RNY. I would think that alone would scare the pants off you enough to lay off the donuts and cake.   Five egg whites don't negate the bad stuff.  It doesn't much matter whether you're gaining or maintaining at goal, IMO. You're not going to be around long enough for it to make a difference at the rate you're going.
