Losing me ....
In pounds that is ....
Two days ago I celebrated 6 years and 4 months living life with my tool and my commitment to health and wellness ... keeping a total loss of 203 pounds gone in maintenance in partnership with my tool and a few awesome life changing rules...
I no longer have 5 co-morbidities...... I am no longer mobility impaired ... I run 3-4 days a week sometimes every other day 5-6 miles along the beach and back, I have participated from start to finish in several 10K and 20Ks and I seek to participate in as many road races as I find available...I swim distance, I rock at Bokwa and Zumba (fitness/toning), Pilates and toning on Monday and Wednesday night and Bikram twice weekly are my go to de-stressors and fun fitness....
I have a clean bill of health ... over the midline of 50s and winking at 60s in a few years I am living my life like it is golden ... so many doors open every day ... I am entering them all ... with FAVOR ...
This is me ... before and TODAY...
This is my entry in my digital empowerment journal "A Picture A Day Keeps the Pounds and the Inches Away" a goofy tool that I made up with input from my awesome IRL sister Mela (RIP) .... it works for me ... I am tracking it all because I do not want to forget ... I am embracing Joy and MAKING it happen to me every day ...
Thanks for allowing me to share ... SNIPPETS OF MY JOURNEY....
LOL I had to look carefully, I thought you were holding a grey fuzzy purse in your number 2 after pic, but me thinks that might be a poodle, lol You look great, I had to go back and look at your blog because someone asked about your panty hose sleeve things and I guess I have never looked at your blog before, but I noticed those shorts wigs you have on today and thought how come she's only doing the long ones lately. And voila there are the short ones back on your head. You really are awesome, I just never really realized how much so until I started reading back through your blog. You go girl!!!!
We are the walking ad for our shops ... we wear it we sell it LOL.... My partner and I are ALWAYS rocking our wares and we have awesome hair of our own too .... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my pieces though ... and when I am particularly stressed or even overly ecstatic I am going extra long ... LOL .... warm weather short "do" ... the only thing is it not warm ... it is downright COLD in here today,,,,
Yup, I had an insurance paid panniculectomy and a modified brachioplasty which was a Christmas gift from DH and kids....
I had my skin skirt whacked off below the navel and went to work the day after ... needless to say I came to work the day of and just walked across the bridge to the surgical center to be taken care of by my awesome co-workers there ... I even made covers for my drains that were in the better part of 6 weeks I had some issues with low K and kept on draining away .... I even went two weeks after my panniculectomy to the OH Conference 2008 in Philly and had an awesome time too... I stuck my drains in my bra ... best tits I ever had for a day LOL....
