Struggling big time these days, lots of crying over nothing... Menopause on the rise. Not only do i work extra hard in my maintaining my weight loss i am now tripple working hard fighting these crying spells..I refuse to get on an antidepressant.for fear of regain..

I am really down more these days,, I can't do so many things outdoors like i was doing because I am on Plavix , if i were to fall on something i could have an injury that causes internal bleeding.  Had to give up riding horses, makes me very sad. i am afraid of falling off my bike if i ride ..sure i go for walks with my daughter and I attend cardiac rehab trying to get my strength back after that last heart attack 5 weeks ago..thats about all the fun i have...well write me if you would like to share some same struggles, thanks and PeaceV Wendy

I'm sorry about all your troubles.  If you had a heart attack 5 weeks ago you need to go slow.  That was a huge trauma to your body.  As far as antidepressants talk your doctor, there are some meds that are more prone to make you gain weight.  I take Lexapro for my irritability which is much more enhanced because of menopause.  There is no need to suffer in silence.  Find out your options and seek help.  After you find the right antidepressant for you, you will find other things aren't so bad.......hang in there!
