Sitting on a total loss of 203 pounds from highest recorded weight ... holding steady at 6 years and 3 months post WLS... I am embracing joy and making it happen to me ... one day at a time... one choice at a time .... loving my journey ...

Martita - I don't get on here as often as I used to but wanted to say this:  You are a success whether you weighed 400# or 120#! You took your tool and used it the proper way and had a great success and you look awesome!!!  I thank you for being a friend and for all the helpful advice you give freely and for all your posts and snippets showing others that WLS  isn't the "easy"  way out but it can show you there is more to life than being obese and feeling useless and unhealthy!!   You have truly given so many others hope that I had to say a big thank you and give you a hug besides!!

I am not (sad to say)  one of the successes unfortunately.  I have put on almost 80# of the 206 I lost originally.  No real excuses just poor eating habits coming back I guess.  I have to own up and get back on the wagon and it's hard to admit YOU are the problem not the WLS, not the doctor, not your friends, loved ones, etc. etc. but YOU  YOU YOU!! (aka as ME ME ME!!

Anyway, had to say Hi and I WILL  get back on track.  I go to see my bariatric NP next week and I haven't been in almost 2 years now.  I have to own up and figure out how to make it all work again.  We are all creatures of habit I guess and I have gone back to my old comfortable fat ways. I am sure she will help me figure it all out.  I  must  be optimistic!! LOL!

You are a very talented lady Martita and one I am proud to call my friend.   Your journey has been so helpful to others, too.   Thank you for your posts.  I know they help (me anyway!) I will try and get back on more often and hopefully have good things to post!!!

Your wayward but getting back on track friend,  Molly
