Schwan's Foods?

Has anyone tried them?  what is your opinion? do they seem more expensive than store bought foods? thinking of giving them a try... thanks for your input. PeaceV Wendy

I buy some of their frozen veggies and frozen yogurt, but a lot of what they sell is not real healthy you need to really watch what you purchess.

I haven't personally tried them but had a friend who loved them and she is a health nut! I checked out their website and if I was a busy working person or even just a single I'd invest in them just for the convenience of having a meal ready to pop in the microwave. They do have alot of not so healthy food but if you pick and choose carefully you can get some very healthy food too. They are a bit more expensive but not as much as I expected. Worth a try I would say.

Their burgundy peppercorn beef sirloin roast is the best roast I have ever eaten.

I have tried their foods and they are good but are high in salt in many of the frozen dinners.  Becoming sharp in reading labels is the key.  Look for high sodium, sugar, and fat content.  As for a quick once and awhile meal, not bad but I wouldn't make it a habit.
