Only Dip i know is the melted butter for lobster..Any thing I can use to substitute that to dip my lobster in? Gonna have boiled lobster at home candle lit dinner with my fiance' for our 3rd yr anniversary together this month..I gotta be extra careful after just having that heart attack 3 months ago. I cant think of anything to dip that lobster in that is heart healthy. Thanks a bunch PeaceV Wendy

Squirt of fresh lemon, salsas or just melt a Tablespoon of butter and baste it on versus dipping in a ton of it... you get a little flavor and less cals and fat. Most restaurants give you waaaaay too much 2-3 oz. ramekins full of butter is a heart attack in the making and gross really.

Happy Anniversary.

Maine Lobster and other cold water lobsters, cooked properly, needs no dip of any kind!  The meat is sweet and moist, butter just dampens the real flavor and make a a really rich meat a little too rich....just my humble opinion...if it"s Caribbean (warm water) lobster, perhaps try a little vinegar, like we Marylander's use for crabs?......(although I've never tried warm water lobster that way, I go for tiny amounts of butter, because the meat can be tougher and less flavorful).....
