Congratulations on your weight loss ... I haven't lost anything in more than 2 weeks, in fact ALL of my 25lbs was lost on the liquid only diet ....

What exactly are you eating? Lots of carby stuff? Carbs make you hold water to process the carbs. The more carbs you eat the more water you will hold which causes the up 2down 2 syndrome. What kind of protein shakes and what are you mixing them with? Getting 64 oz of sf liq every day, minimum?

What vitmains/protein replacements are you taking? what exercise are you doing? Remember it is only a tool. It is not magic although some folks like to make you think it is.

I think Kelly said it best. The less weight you have to lose, the slower it will come off. I can only imagine how hard this must be for you after your experience with the lap band. Hang in there, my friend - I'm sure you'll be fine!

Also, if the scale is depressing you - throw it out! I somehow made it through my first year and a half or so with no scale in my house, so I don't even know if I had stalls, plateaus, or gains. All I know is I went from a size 28 to a size 6 - who cares what the scale says? I feel great!

Can you give a sample of a daily menu?  What are you eating?  Bread?  Pasta? Cereal? Cookies?  Anything like that?

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.

No nothing like that ... I've been eating baby food, chicken, fish, (pureed of course because I can't eat it any other way) yogurt, cheese, eggs (when they'll go down) I can't eat a whole lot of anything, so I'm not getting a whole lot of cals or evin protein from what I AM eating ... I am sorry but I seriously don't understand this whole thing ... I FINALLY found a protein that doesn't sour my stomach and doesn't make me run to the bathroom ... I go see my dietitian tomorrow morning ... I hope I can get answers and idea from her what to do because I have not lost a thing in weeks .....

Just hold on. It will happen. the last few kilos are the most difficult to lose. Just hang on and do what you have been doing.

Thank you, I saw my dietitian yesterday and she said everything looks great (food logs, protein intake, physical activity) so I am doing great according to her :) She did say that because I have less weight than most to loose, that it will come off much slower and that by April I will notice a HUGE difference, I CAN'T wait :)
