Dreams and Goals
“You have a lot of dreams and goals. Here’s how to realize them sooner vs. later.”
Want to make your dreams a reality? Want to reach the goal line? Then DO something, anything, that will take you one step closer to them. Then, do the next thing that will move you closer yet. In the book, Action Trumps Everything, that is the message. Do something. Don’t plan what you’ll do in chronological order with dates and times and how and when and where, just start DOING. You don’t have to have all the plans you just have to do the first thing. Then, do the next thing and so on. Remember, what you believe is evidenced by how you live not by what you say. If you believe you can reach a goal, do it and stop talking about it.

I really really loved your thoughts out here. They are so true. The more passion one puts in and believes that what is being done is right, the better results are bound to accrue from that. It's good to have dreams and it's better to strive to achieve them, further it's best for attainment of the desired result.

Wonderful words, but with a caveat, If there is no date on a goal, then it is simply a wish. You don't always need detailed plans, but you do need to know where you are going and when you are going to get there. That gets you through the times when life interferes with passion and having some deadline gets you back on track when the train derails.
Inspiring! I agree, though, with my friend the project manager: No deadline, no work.
