GROUNDED under a couple feet of snow ... the highways and streets are CLOSED....

Yesterday morning I set off on a walk with the dogs looking like this....

Last night I peeped out my front door and it looked like this....

When I thought that was bad enough this early this morning we were looking like this...

When I opened the front downstairs door we were met with this...

the back door on the first floor opened up to this... my poodles were like WHOA!

and here I am thinking ... this is going to be a lazy family day ... languishing in front of the fireplace with a book/my laptop my doggies and my family...

or I may just rock my poodles and my ferrets...

and now the work begins to dig ourselves out from under the blanket of snow .... and wait for the streets and highways to re-open and the snow plows to come ... our streets and highways are closed until further notice still...

I am going out there to help my son shovel ... it will be an awesome exercise routine for the day ... after all six years ago I could not even dream of doing that ... but with 203 pounds lost and kept off ... I am ready ... I think ... the only thing that may stop me is ... BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR IT IS COLD!!!!

I absolutely LOVE shovelling snow and living in Colorado, I get to indulge on a regular basis.   We are waiting for snow this afternoon/tonight and my trusty shovel is in the garage waiting ...   Enjoy digging yourself out and think of all those muscles aching afterwards - I love that feeling!

I know I'm weird ...

I think if I were in Colorado I would indulge and enjoy it more ... right now it is WORK .. the snow is HEAVY and my toes and fingers get numb instantly ... I think I have four pairs of socks on ... hmmmmmmmmmmm I think I will continue to bribe my son to do my part LOL...

Thanks..definitely trying to stay warm .. .. you are right about it being the weekend ... it would have been a bigger mess trying to clear this up to get to work...

It reminds me of the Cosby show where Heathcliffe (Bill) was saying how it was possible to lose a child in all the snow that was out there.  It really doesn't seem like much of an exaggeration!!

Side note. I am in the process of looking for a reliable poodle breeder or a reliable poodle mixed .

Thank you! Toni is awesome her nursery and her own dogs are just impeccable.  Her husband, like mine, is disabled.. they are a wonderful couple and the care and dedication they have is awesome.  I hope you find an awesome breeder and the dog that you want. 

All my friends in Colorado can't figure out why I am hating this snow here in CT. I'm not a big fan of winter in the first place, and this is not making me like it any better. It WOULD be nice if the city would plow the streets so emergency vehicles would have a shot at getting in to help people.
