Hope you are feeling better this AM.

I've only experienced it full blown about 4 times in my 6 1/2 years (1 time of my own doing and 3 not) but it is definitely not a pleasant feeling AT ALL. For me: racing heart wanting to bust out of your chest, sweats, nausea, lightheadedness, and then wiped out for about 1 hour and blah for a while after that. Not fun.

Perhaps today... a little reflection as to why you reached for it... working on the head stuff is the hardest part of this all IMHO.

I have this nearly every day, and I don't eat bread, pasta, candy, cake, cookies, or anything of the sort.  Sometimes even a little milk or yogurt (no-fat, unsweetened), will do it to me.  I live on protein and vegetables.  You may end up having sweets again.  But after a while, you will learn never to eat them.  I remember last year in the midst of some emotional trauma, I decided I wanted ice cream.  I stood in front of the freezer in the store and my stomach literally started screaming.  Weird noises that said, if you eat that, I will hurt you.  I walked away.
