Come on everyone....play along! My brother and I are planning a few different things....things we would never have done prior to surgery...He chose (and mind you...we are doing it together!) skydiving....Did I say SKYDIVING????? Did he forget that I am afraid of heights????? Oh what did I get myself into??? That will be next Sept...for his new birthday....I picked hiking in the mountains of Colorado...an over night one...At least we will be on the ground!!!!!! So what have you all picked??? I've done most of the things on my postop list Now I'm working on a new list, but have to make it things I can afford to do. I'd love to skydive, but man is that spendy!

Hi Tooter....been awhile since I have been out here...I know it is expensive...but...so was the surgery that is helping me achieve it!! I will just have to save save save! I think the hiking will be as well as we have NOTHING to start with...but it will be fun to do with my brother! Lora

I know you can do it!!! I just end up with kids needing dental work or ---- fill in the blank, whenever I get money saved for fun stuff lol

Years ago I used to think about skydiving... always wondered if I could actually get myself to jump when standing at the doorway!!! I haven't planned anything huge to do when I get to goal, my main thing is to live my life, but 1 thing I look forward to doing sometime is to ride a horse again and I'd like to get back into scuba diving which I enjoyed before. This may sound a bit pedestrian but I am planning for the day I can walk into a restaurant and know I can fit i the chair, not get "That Look" from other patrons. I just came home from my surgery today so I am still wanting the most basic thrill, however, I am definetly planning a trip with two friends to Eastern Europe next July. by then I will fit in the airline seat just perfectly (which was also a problem)., Having this surgery is almost like being handed back my life! Bless you all! Sharon
