. Had a Heart Attack Saturday night.Heart attack number 2 .. stent #8 was placed in another one of my arteries..Surgeon said another one of my arteries was 100 % blocked.. so I am thankful I had this heart attack, it saved my life ...Yes i know it could have killed me also..
Had a pretty awful experience going through this one. the EMT thought i was faking my heart attack. My blood pressure was 215/114. .. I will be persuing an investigation on that ..Hoping Legal Aid will be of help for me..
..I Said how could this be?! I can't have a blocked artery. I eat 90-95 percent healthy foods. turns out as they explained to me, being a diabetic when eating carbs makes your blood vessels harden , I knew that already and blocks the artery from blood flow to the heart..Lesson learned the hard way, don't mess with being a diabetic.. women are more prone for heart attacks as diabetic. Genetics also play a part. I do have family members that are still alive at 92 years old..Well I am still here still struggling. EMT's make mistakes - you would have to prove it was wilful, and that it caused you harm to get any money. You don't need a lawyer to make a complaint - only if you are after monetary compensation!
A contingency lawyer will tell you whether you have a case - as you are writing this a couple of days later, I think you may be out of luck but if you feel strongly that you were put in danger, then it's worth seeing if a lawyer agrees!

That is terrible. I'm glad they stented you and saved your life from a catastrophic event. Have they started you on clopidogrel and statins?

No, my heart attack was not from stopping my blood pressure meds.. I now have more meds added to my daily regimen..Plavix 75 mg. Zestril? cant read the doctors handwritting. 10 mg of that one.. Nitro ( as needed) Lisinoprol 10 mg... Looks like i won't reach one of my goals after weight loss. I desperatly wanted to get off all meds except vitamins. well so be it.. will just keep on orking harder to be here.. Merry Christmas ...Peace\/ Wendy
