I did Yoga!
I am just over three months post-op. It has been grea****ching the number on the scale go down, but even more exciting have been the non-surgical victories.
I did yoga on Tuesday...I made it through the whole class and I felt fantastic afterwards.
I ran across the hall...may not seem like much but my feet were so sore 4 months ago that walking hurt, and I was in a hurry the other day and I started running without even realizing it. And my feet didn't hurt.
I got a pair of knee-high boots. Soooo sexy.
I can wash all parts of my body without twisting and contorting.
I am wearing make-up again. I just feel so much better about myself.
I can walk through the mall without my feet killing me.
And I just feel great!!!
To all you on the fence about surgery...I would do it again in a heartbeat.
That's great! There's a lot of things that yoga can do to our body. For our posture of course. Yoga postures gives our muscles and ligaments a slow,gentle stretch, making them healthier, improving circulation and mobility and reducing pain and stiffness. The postures tone our muscles and improve body awareness.
Wonderful NSV list !! I just got a makeup kit special at Yonkers last night during Black Friday shopping. The make up I have hasnt been used in a decade!! Out with the old and start using the new, on Monday. My feet survived shopping too. yea us
