I was a picky eater... I was never to fond of a lot of meat... I ate it, but I ate other foods with it, more than it. ex: rice, beans, bread etc... So the first few months of my surgery it was rough being only bake to eat meat to get in my protein... I hated having to chew and chew it.... U can only chew meat for so long before it gets chewy... Lol

My nutritionist gave me this recipe.... It was delicious and lots of protein....

(Depending how much you are eating now)

-fat free ricotta cheese
-fat free marinara sauce
-sprinkle of cheese on top

Microwave it for seconds, until cheese on top is melted....

I loooved it. Ate it every single day... Hope it helps someone....
It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes.

You can substitute thin sliced zucchini or even turkey slices if you want the layers like noodles.

That being said, though, I always loved the ricotta part best.

Also try mixing ricotta with a little splenda and vanilla.  It tastes like the inside of a canolli. Ricotta is a wonderful food, 7g of protein in a tiny 1/4 cup.
