Drainage Site

Does everyone with RNY have a drainage site put it? Mine keeps leaking around the exit. Not very comfortable with it. Any advice out there?

Call your surgeon, they may need to check it.

 Definitely bring this up to your surgeon.  If he's not concerned, then a maxi pad makes a great bandage for soaking up the leakage.  My drain site seeped some when they pulled out the tube.

Thanks for the info the visiting nurse said the drainage tube was clogged causing it leak more at the site. Cant wait to get it out!!!!!!!
