XP - no longer quenching my spirit

Fighting the urge to paint over my wall ... a harvest/autumn mural is on my mind and my fingers are itching to grab my artist acrylics paints/palette .... the harvest is plentiful indeed... and I will not refuse the urge to use my gift .. I guess God anointed my hands to do goofy things that soothe my heart and my spirit ... I will not quench the spirit of the artist in me ... Lord help me ... I see a mess of paint and gesso/un-gesso ahead ... and I will enjoy every minute of it! ... OFF to reproduce the image in my head altering as little as possible of what is already on the wall ... I will merge and blend colors and come up with as close to what is in my mind as possible ... or at least try!

Yesterday evening after crashing I woke up around 3 am and have been up since ... not one to be idle I grabbed canvas paper and my palette and painted the avie just by looking at the screen of a handsome and inspiring brother on here (Ron) and hope to take a picture of it and post it later after drying and if he likes it I will send it off to him free of any charges or interests and no strings attached.... Prior to that I painted the avie of the lovely mother of our sista the Bariatric Foodie hoping to see her at the OH conference ... instead I
completed changing the framing of it and will send it off to her...

Wish me blessings in expressing myself on my wall once again ...  losing the hummingbirds and blending into oh my soooooooooooooooo many images flashing around in my head LOL

Is this weight loss related? you bet! painting is an awesome alternative to snacking... it is fun... soothing ... relaxing ... and guess what ... acrylic paints are so flexible no one needs to be perfect...

My wall has a sad painful history that I shared before ... I will beautify that busted wall each and every time in my own way ... it is no longer a wall of pain but a wall of victory! The wall that I chose for the background of my digital empowerment journal ... a picture a day keeps the pounds and the inches away....

OFF
to make an artistic mess .... TTYL!!!

 Hiya Marty,

I always love reading your posts and looking forward to your next harvest/autumn mural on your busted wall!!  You are so talented and your unique vision always comes through with paint.  Your messages are a reminder to me to step back and look at the beautiful things a little more often.  Please post a picture of it when you have finished I can't wait!!!

Thank you Mallisa... so far I have killed the hummingbirds and this is my second break... My dearest son (who can be a royal PITA) made and bought me a plate of his awesome baked winglets (2 pieces) with a tablespoon of his mac and cheese creation ... so I took a quick break and now back to my wall ... I killed the hummingbirds and still toying around with my harvest wall ... I see sunflowers, water, moon, fallen tree and a pea**** still ... no idea how I am going to work it all in ... in the interim I am working along getting this basket out of the way and mind's eye... updating in between breaks..

Taking a coffee break now ... I did not like the pea**** nor the log ... yikes that sounds funny LOL ...so I re-worked it a bit ... still have tons to do yet plus the background up top... I still have the itch to paint ... I hope it does not leave till I am satisfied with whatever it is I am doing here ... the friggin wall is so big I can't even fit the whole thing up close in a picture ... here are two rough views... totally unfinished and in need of work...

We are so totally different, once I finish something I want it to stay done forever, not go back and keep changing it.  Plus I hate anything that makes a mess, I guess thats why I an a computer geek, I have all my entertainment in one small box.  Even my camera and lenses have to fit in my fancy camera bag, now that it is full I cannot get any more.  I always fill the space and once its filled its done, collectibles etc work this way.  Must be just me.  I look at you repainting again and all I think is that paint is gonna peel off the wall its gonna be so thick.  lol

Enjoy
