Hitting my limit...learning to deal. PIC INSIDE!
So I am 16 months post op gastric bypass and I hit my goal at about 11 months out. My higher weight was 311 and I am now fluctuation between 146lbs-151lbs. I have lost 165lbs and I am so happy about that but I have tried everything to lose another 10 or 20 lbs! I have been walking and jogging 3 times a week for the past months and NOTHING. What should I do? I feel like my body is at it's limit. I am just not happy. I assume I have a good 10 lbs of skin to be removed so I guess I weigh more around 136-142lbs but I don't know. I just feel like Would be happier with another 10lbs. What should I do? Liquid diet? More fluids? Less fluids? (I drink 100 oz a day)
Don't get me wrong. I am SO proud of myself for losing 165lbs! That's A LOT OF WEIGHT! I just want to push my body a little farther. Or do I have to learn to just be happy how I am?
PLEASE HELP!
Here is my newest before and after pic. Enjoy!
Before and after. On the left I am 311 lbs and on the right 146lbs.

I think alot of this is mental, I've seen your full length photos and I honestly don't know how you could lose another pound and be healthy. Some folks get a psychological high from weight loss, you see the scale go down and get a rush from that. When it's time to stop they don't know how to deal with that. You may want to talk with a councelor about accepting where your body is rather than trying to force it to lose more. It's kinda of a cross addiction, instead of getting the high from food they get the high from weight loss. When the point to stop comes they don't know what to do or how to be happy where they are. Just something you may want to think about.
Move more and eat less, its simple. Its the ten pounds that I kick back and forth for the past 5 years since I made my goal. Up and down. To lose I have to eat no more then 1000-1200 calories and walk. It happens slowly. Its not like wls where it just falls off, this is a slow process that takes months to happen, but it can be done. Believe me, I have done it repeatedly.

I'd say start up on the protein shakes again.... Maybe one a day.... The brand oh yeah! Are realllly good... And just eat small meals all day.... Nd keep exercising... It will come.off... I didn't completely stop losing til like two yrs a little less... Don't get discouraged...

How many calories a day are you eating? I can definitely relate. I maintain around 135 and amd OK with my weight 90% of the time. Sometimes I do think I should lose 5-10 more. I know I would need to eat less and exercise more and for me right now, it's not worth it.
