Beware! Skin pic inside! lol
So I must be a crazy woman to even put this picture up. But I am on this page to help others by being honest and showing the good and the bad about surgery. I may be saggy but 165lbs smaller and I'm strong! Here is a picture of me last night when I came back from my walk/jog. I hate my skin but it will all be cut off in due time so what the hell.
I am so frustrated with my weight. It seems like no matter what I do I can't lose any weight! My lowest weight was 146 lbs and I've been a stable 151 ALL month. I started exercising so I really was hoping it would jump start the weightloss buuuuut NO. This is the part of surgery that seems to be the hardest. I thought it would get easier with time! PS: I hope I don't offend anyone with my floppy skin pic! Lol
Does anyone have any advice for me to lose more weight at 16 months post op?

You look good AmberLee. It always look worse when you're looking down at your own stomach and that's the view we all see of ourselves most often!

Where is your hanging skin??? Why are you not flabby? Darn you young 'uns!!
You look great. I say just keep doing what you are doing and eventually you'll start losing again. You've done this long enough to know that stalls happen. Make sure you aren't letting carbs and empty cals creep back in. You got this, girlie!

Hello AmberLee72,
You look awesome. If you think you are crazy about posting the picture in your workout clothing on this site, I posted my before & after pictures on this site to help others to look forward to a new them. In the picture that you have posted, it looks like in the picture that you have posted, it seems that your ready to say something like "I'll Pump You Up!". You look great in that photo. We are here to help others on here to reach there Goals & NSV's by posting on here. We were in there shoes before we got here and needed help from other so we can get here like they have. I am at 167.33 pounds and at 5 foot 5 inches tall. I hate my skin too. I found out a few days ago that my insurance won't pay for "Bat Wings" to be removed. I don't know what to do. I just had a panniculectomy on September 25, 2012 and came home on September 26, 2012. Which was round 2 for me. For next year, I have to set up an appointment to see a orthopedic surgeon after the first of the year (2013) and the reason why is that I need surgery on both of my knees.
You'll do great yourself. I hope you can get to the weight you want to be at. I wish you all the best in your journey that's ahead of you. We are in the same boat in some way. You just look great in the picture. Keep up the great job you are doing. Best wishes to you AmberLee72.

You look amazing! All I see in this pic is a girl with a flat stomach that is reasy for two peice swimming suit season. Dont be so hard on yourself. I am sure that your wife tells you how good you look, listen to her when she does and you may start to believe it yourself. Thank you for the pics and letting us in on your struggles.
