Vitamin D intake

I went through the 'low D' pain thing, and it was amazing how much better I felt when I got mine up into the high-normal range. I guess it really IS all about moderation. (*grin*)

I think that this is a great reminder that too much of a good thing is still TOO MUCH.

 Thanks for the "Head's Up". Living in the pacific northwest I never get enough sun and so my preop lab work showed me deficent in Viatmin D. My GP put me on 5000 IU a day. I'll make sure to check the number on my two month bloodwork.

I just received my labs back and my surgeon instructed me on what vitamins he wants me to start taking. My D level was at a 7 so he wants me to start taking vit D immediatly.  My surgery is scheduled for January.
