I woke up this morning, the day of surgery, to find my throat hurting like crazy. I looked closer and found white pus pockets! yup- strep! Went to urgent care and they confirmed it. My surgeon went ahead and cancelled and rescheduled for another 3wks!
I'm just bummed. Of all days!

Just look at it like you now have three more weeks to practice all your new eating habbits, (and wean out all the old) ;-) Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your postponed surgery. At least you will have it in 3 weeks. Best of luck to you and hope you feel better soon!

That would be disappointing. I hope that you feel better soon. Two thoughts though:

1. I would guess that if it was to happen, it would be better to have occurred before - rather than after your surgery.
2. There is a better time line for you with the delay in surgery.

That sucks... but you definitely want to be at the best you can be going into major surgery.
3 weeks to take pre-op pictures, measurements, make a before collage, make a list of all the when I lose the weight I'm going to _____ and get better of course.
