Would You Tell Them, What's in Your Recipe Before Eating It???

I have food allergies, (not to beans but still) If I was allergic to black beans and you offered me a brownie I probably would not think there would be beans in those.
I would let people know if there is an item added in that may not be typically in the ingredients.
some people with severe allergies could die.

Now I have to look up that diet. I haven't heard of it. With all those beans, I have a guess what that "F" is for.

Back in 1985 in an elementary school I taught in, we had the most wonderful chocolate cake ever.  So very moist you did not even need frosting.  I asked the person in charge of the baking what her secret was and she replied....beets....

Due to the school being in a very poor area we received commodities and if we did not use them they would not give us more, and lets face it, kids really did not eat beets, so she ground them up and put them in the cake. The kids loved that cake.

I have a great spinich brownie I use. No one notices the addition to the recipe! It's a don't ask don' t tell cooking policy at my place.
