Who's had a revision surgery?

I'm just about 5 yrs out and i've gained all my weight back.  part of the problem was my opening dilated and my surgeon is suggesting a revision surgery.  i'd like to know other's experience with this and did you find it helpful in loosing the weight, what were some obstacles you ran in to, things like that.  i know i need to exercise more and really focus on getting my protein in and he vitamins but the main focus of this question is on the revision surgery itself.  thank you all for your time :)
