These two TSA should be sent back to training for professionalism and because they encountered it a lesson on Medical Issues as it relates to devices on the body.
I understand the reasoning behind such searches (keeping us safe), however, for them to swab medical tubing that is inserted into a persons body without ensuring there would not be a health risk to the person is 100% bull****!!! Our entire family took 4 flights for our vacation, and the TSA rules were a PITA, but we sucked it up and dealt with it. Yes, I probably would have called ahead to let them know my situation and I also would have had documents from my surgeon explaining what my situation was. I'm not the type of person to sue, in order to make $$, however, if I was this lady, I'd make sure the mayo clinic knows about the situation and I'd contact an attorney.
