I've been having a problem with weight for some years now and during my college years I officially slid into the obese category. I've been this way for five years now and I'm looking for a way out.

I joined this forum so I could find out more about Lap Band surgery and if anyone else has had it :(

Hi Bryan... welcome... hun RESEARCH as much as you can. there are many different types of WLS.. make sure you choose the RIGHT one for you. Look at the revision rates from one WLS to another over the years.

there is a TON of info on this site check it all out, ask the questions and make and informed decision.

I suggest you research ALL FOUR types of weight-loss surgery. The LapBand is the least effective of the lot.

Did you look at the hits on google? They all start out the same way. No way it is different people.

so, what could the point be? at some point does he try to sell us something?

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.
