I had my surgery on May 2nd and I have only lost about 26 to 30 pounds.  I thought I would lose weight faster than I have. Has anyone else lost weight this slow or am I doing something wrong?
Dont take me wrong I am grateful for the weight I have lost I just thought I would have lost more by now.

Everyone is different, but you are right at what is to be expected.

Average weight loss after surgery is 100 pounds in one year

Month 1 – 20 pounds

Month 2-6 – 10 pounds

Month 7-12 – 5 pounds

Had mine on 05/16, I was 233 the day of surgery.  Today I am 209, so a total of  24 in almost 2 months.  I did stall for about 2 weeks and just recently picked back up.  It is coming of slow but as long as it keeps moving in a downward spiral.  Keep your protein and water intake up, that will help.

According to your ticker, you've lost 49 pounds, or nearly one-third of your excess weight. Sounds pretty normal to me.
