The busted wall... Opinions Please...

 They are definitely a masterpiece and I hope I do then a little bit of justice on my wall... just took a water break and back to work... I finished gesso-ing and one layer ... will fine tune and start the awesome flowers and birds that are flying around in my head and fingertips LOL

 Took a break for hydration.... and back to work on the mural ... taking pics as I go too...

 The orange flowers from pic 2 with the bird from pic 3. And of COURSE you should do it. Why deny yourself your art therapy?

 Your busted wall mural has a lot of emotion and memories attached to it.  If you want to hold onto that, then you can add some hummingbirds to the flowers already there.  Otherwise, I think it would be a gorgeous replacement if you're ready to wipe the wall clean and start over (metaphorically and personally)

Can't wait to see it!

I love birds, all birds, but hummingbirds hold a place close to my heart literally, my first tattoo that I got  is a hummingbird with a rose in his mouth on my chest.  I would of course paint swans, but then again you knew that already.

Marty so nice to see you again. You look amazing. I would just continue that beautiful artwork and add the hummingbirds to the flowers you already have on the wall. Before you know it that artwork will wrap around to another wall to bless you and your family with your talent.

  THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR AWESOME INPUT ON MY BUSTED WALL THREAD THAT I SHARED YESTERDAY.... YIKES I WAS UP ALL NIGHT AND CAME UP FOR AIR WHEN MY DOORBELL RANG AND IT WAS MY RUNNING BUDDIES ... AT 4:00 a.m. I was up all day all night... because I had this itch to re-paint my busted wall...

I painted ..gessoed ...re-painted and gessoed again... by the time I thought I had a rough draft I could work with it my runner friends were telling me I had paint all over .... .. with no sleep and still tons of energy... I was a total mess ...can someone please tell me how I got more paint on me than on the wall ... paint on my tooth? seriously???? ... 

This is the rough draft of my busted wall I shared with you on yesterday and you were so kind to encourage and support this goofy old sista on the journey ... it still needs tons of work .. I am not doing justice to the hummingbirds but then my forte is painting people ... I gessoed out the upper stem to the flower on the top (all the flowers are unfinished) and now where I thought it was too busy something seems to be amiss...

Thanks for allowing me to share .. after trying to unpaint myself I wound up with a splitting headache ... which I shall try to sleep off ... but the darn wall keeps calling me ... and I still have that itch to paint what is in my head and I am not yet seeing on the wall.... The hummingbirds and the wall are in total rough draft and unfinished ... 

Thanks for allowing me to share this goofy thread.... to keep it on topic I shared with you my busted wall ... and me picking up my brushes and my canvas and my artist acrylics instead of a fork and rocking my awesome hobby of painting on my walk away from morbid obesity ... one day at a time... one choice at a time...
