HOOCHIE MEEEE???? .....hmmmm maybe so....SNIPPETS...
MAKE EACH DAY YOUR MASTERPIECE..... John Wooden
The words of Van Gogh ring true in my ears ... "If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." Vincent Van Gogh
....when that voice in my head said this morning I can't wear this dress it is a bit too big ... I whipped it under my Project Runway sewing/embroidery machine and I made it fit .... and when that voice in my head said ..you can't possibly wear that to work you look like a hoochie ... and I said .. I certainly can! and I silenced that voice .... so I started out totally hoochie... in a size 3/4 too big Junior dress that I had to take in (the bodice) ... I am going somewhere after work and no time to go home and change...
Hoochie meeeeeeeee?
Let me fix that... gimme a blazer..
and after buttoning it up I am off to work...
I made an entry into my digital empowerment journal ... A Picture a Day Keeps the Pounds and the Inches Away ...
Loving coordinates ... taking a little bit of this and a little bit of that and painting my own picture ..
This was my empowerment collage yesterday ... walking the walk and enjoying my journey away from morbid obesity and five related co-morbidities one day at a time one choice at a time.... I am loving Health and Mobility ... 5 years 4.5+ months post RNY Gastric Bypass the BEST thing I ever did for ME!
From a size 4-5 X to 0-2 and sometimes 4 - no stretch WOOT ...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE CLOTHING AND FABRICS ... always did ... like my mom (RIP) I think I was born with the touch and smell of fabric on my hands ... I am the daughter of an awesome couturier (RIP) ... and even today I can't even come close to her sewing but I certainly try ...
I love love love taking pics of my tags and to think this is a Juniors dress too... not that size matters but just the idea that 5 years and 4.5+ months ago I could not even get my calf in the neckline makes me go WOOT! I am loving it....
Thanks for allowing me to share another useless goofy thread to encourage myself or maybe someone else on the journey... I plan to keep obesity and all its related illnesses under my feet ... day by day... choice by choice ... I am loving it!!!

I did not make any of these ... I just altered the first dress cause it was running too big ... I did make the light blue dress with the ruffles I shared the other day if that's the one you mean.... I found the video for Ana Rosa's dresses and I have fabric and a solution for my acrylic paints that I bought last year and I am going to try making one of them... this is the link to the video.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIysdzlDZPA
